MP for Ekumfi Throws Party for Constituents

 

 

In a gleeful moment of gratitude and celebration, the Member of Parliament for Ekumfi Constituency, Hon. Dr. Othniel Ekow Kwainoe, graciously organised a victory party and fun games for constituents to mark his success in the 2024 Parliamentary Elections.

The event, held on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at Ekumfi Essuehyia, was both timely and well attended with over 1,500 attendees.

Hon. Dr. Ekow Kwainoe expressed his heartfelt thanks to traditional leaders, party executives from branch to constituency levels, groups such as the Teachers' Forum and Fanofom Fun Club, party members, and individuals whose tireless efforts contributed to his decisive victory. He pledged to strategically position all groups to help fulfil their purpose and support development in Ekumfi.

He called for unity among members and urged continued support for his tenure. Dr. Kwainoe also commended the DCE applicants for demonstrating true leadership following the President's nomination and the subsequent confirmation of Hon. Ismaeel Nana Asamoah by Assembly Members. 

Touching on National issues, Dr. Kwainoe outlined key policies of the John Dramani Mahama led administration set to benefit the people of Ekumfi.

Also present was Hon. Dr. Ebenezer Prince Kojo Arhin, MP for Mfantseman Constituency, who pledged support for Dr. Kwainoe. He promised to partner with him to organise an annual free health screening for party executives and members, while also assuring students of scholarship opportunities for further education and professional advancement. 

Taking his turn, Hon. Ismaeel Nana Asamoah, DCE for the Ekumfi District Assembly, assured attendees of equitable access to government interventions, regardless of political affiliation. He emphasized his commitment to inclusive development.

The Constituency Chairman, Alhajj Joseph Antobam, led a moment of silence in honour of fallen heroes of the party, acknowledging their dedication and sacrifice.

The festive occasion featured games such as eating competition, ludo, draughts, and tug-of-war, accompanied by assorted food, drinks and dancing. Certificates of appreciation were presented to executives at all levels in recognition of their dedicated service during the 2024 elections.

Mfantseman MP Mobbed in Ekumfi

The Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Hon. Dr. Ebenezer Prince Kojo Arhin, received a rousing welcome in Ekumfi on Monday, April, 2025.

Dr. Arhin was in the constituency to join his colleague, Hon. Dr. Othniel Ekow Kwainoe, MP for Ekumfi, at a victory party held at Ekumfi Essuehyia. The mammoth crowd that greeted him reflected the warmth and hospitality of the people of Ekumfi.


Seizing the moment, Dr. Arhin urged attendees to remain united and focused. He commended the admirable leadership demonstrated by the District Chief Executive applicants following the nomination and confirmation of Hon. Ismaeel Nana Asamoah by the President, HE John Dramani Mahama and Assembly Members. He encouraged them to work hand in hand to realise the shared vision for development.

The Mfantseman legislator also pledged his support to Dr. Kwainoe, promising to facilitate an annual free health screening for party executives and members in the constituency.


In his address, Dr. Othniel Ekow Kwainoe expressed heartfelt gratitude to party executives at all levels, traditional leaders, and constituents for their unwavering support during the 2024 parliamentary election, which he won decisively.

He appealed for continued unity and cooperation, stressing that only a united front can bring lasting development and success to Ekumfi.
