The amount was handed over to the Presiding Member of the Ekumfi District Assembly, Hon. Kow Kakra Nketsia-Richardson through the Paramount Chief, Odeefo Akyen VIII.

The water crisis, which has persisted for close to a month, has significantly disrupted daily life in Ekumfi. Residents face challenges in basic activities such as cooking, washing and general household chores due to the lack of running water.
